In four short videos, experts from the National Federation for Catholic
Youth Ministry offer advice and insight based on their experience as
parents and religious educators, providing tips and concrete examples
of how to build a stronger family in countless little ways every day.
Live Catholic empowers parents to take an active role in growing faith

Dr. Bob McCarty is the executive director for the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry. Bob offers workshops and training programs in ministry skills and issues internationally. Bob is a national trainer for the Strong Catholic Families initiative and is a volunteer in the youth ministry and catechetical programs at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Fulton, Maryland.
Dr. Maggie McCarty is executive director for the Lasallian Region of North America based in Washington, DC, for the De La Salle Christian Brothers. She has worked with youth and youth ministry for three decades and has experience at the parish, school, diocesan, and national levels. Maggie teaches courses in youth ministry at several universities and does training and retreat work internationally.
Dr. Greg “Dobie” Moser, DMin, is the executive director of youth and young adult ministry and CYO for the Diocese of Cleveland. He has a master’s in family systems counseling and a doctorate in ministry with a focus on leadership development. Dobie is a national trainer for the Strong Catholic Families initiative.
Lisa Moser has an undergraduate degree in early childhood and special education. She has done extensive work with families dealing with mental illness and is an advocate for the dignity and healthy development of families.
Dr. Sean Reynolds, DMin, brings experience in youth ministry leadership development and has been one of the leading lights in interpreting the implications of current research on best youth ministry practices. For more than twenty years, he has been director of youth and young adult ministry for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He is a national trainer for the Strong Catholic Families initiative.
Leisa Anslinger is the Director of Catholic Life and Faith and author of Grace in Action, a monthly stewardship publication by Our Sunday Visitor. She is a frequent presenter at national and diocesan gatherings. Leisa holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and masters from Purdue University and the Athenaeum of Ohio, where she has served as an adjunct faculty member of the Strong Catholic Families Development Team.
